An Alternative Approach to Healing

This revolutionary regenerative therapy procedure is an all-natural alternative to surgical intervention for individuals suffering from:
The benefits of this Regenerative Medicine Therapy are:
BMA therapy is a noninvasive outpatient procedure that Dr. Demesmin and his team perform in the office—be it in Manhattan, New York, or Somerset, New Jersey. The bone marrow aspirate is directly obtained from a bone called the iliac crest (hip). Bone marrow contains stem cells which can form new bone, cartilage, and muscle. A special needle is used to collect a concentration of stem cells from the marrow. Newly obtained stem cells are then injected into problematic areas, like the knees, to stimulate cell regeneration.
Studies have shown that Cortisone injections may actually weaken tissue. Cortisone shots may provide temporary pain relief but will not promote long-term healing. Bone marrow stem cell therapy heals and strengthens these tendons and ligaments.
No. Despite several publications and peer reviewed journals showing the efficacy of BMA, it is not covered by insurance at this time.
Most patients noticed some level of improvement within 2-to-6 six weeks or sooner. Patients can expect a decrease in pain and an increase in strength and stability. Most patients require only a single injection of BMA.
Patients with the following conditions are disqualified from this procedure: platelet dysfunction syndrome, critical thrombocytopenia, septicemia, infection, fever, bone cancer, and recent cortisone injections.
Patients need to discontinue the use of NSAIDS 5-to-7 days prior to this procedure. Blood thinner should not be stopped unless directed by a physician.
Patients will need to have someone drive them home after the procedure. Patients may be given an analgesic prescription. In most cases a 4-to-6 week physical therapy course will likely be prescribed. Most individuals can return to normal activities within 72 hours. The length of recovery before athletic activities averages anywhere from 2-to-4 weeks.
